Hi, My name is Marty Lehr. I founded Your Place Or Mine Music teaching studio here in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We provide professional music instruction to people of all ages on almost any musical instrument. We especially welcome adults, and particularly senior adults that want to get back into the "swing" of things by playing a musical instrument; maybe for the very first time, or perhaps by picking up where they left off some time ago. Here are just a few quick facts about me:
I have lived in New Smyrna Beach (Volusia Co) Fl for nearly thirty years.
I started playing the trumpet in the 4th grade.
I have a BS degree in music education from Mansfield University (Mansfield PA).
I have performed with the All American College Marching Band at Disney World.
I was music teacher for Volusia County schools for five years.
I owned and operated a music studio (Modern Sound Learning) in Deland, Fl.
I have performed with every type of musical group you can imagine (and some you can't imagine!)
Our instructors are comfortable teaching a private lesson, a small group, or full band or orchestra regardless of age or instrumentation!
